Nova is growing quickly, and I think there are lots of career prospects with this.
Relatively easy to move up levels with experience and chartered engineering qualifications
Nova Systems has taken strong steps to make information regarding career progression easier. Initiatives the company has taken include; Conversational presentations made by managers to graduates on how to use Personal Development (PD) funds and case studies/anecdotes from themselves and other company members on how graduates can progress their career; Having dedicated graduate coordinators who check-in with graduates once a month and guide graduates throughout the completion of a 'graduate workbook'; Having managers encourage conversation to attribute funds to upskilling for career moves that might involve overseas training; Being open to under-qualified staff responding to EOIs for the purpose of generating exposure and providing a basis for feedback to equip staff for future EOIs
Once you complete the graduate program you will have opportunities to become a systems engineer, eventually a principle engineer, capability manager or program manager etc.
Once I find out what field I am interested in it will help me specialise in it.
With the potential projects and situations that could present itself in the future, it is a big positive.
